With Rally’s Platform, custom Apps and Integrations of any complexity can be created that tailor Rally to fit your specific needs. New Apps can be easily created with simple improvements to an existing open source App. For innovative new data visualization and reporting needs, our powerful yet easy to use App SDK 2.0 - featuring a rich component library and supported by a versioned web services API - can be used to create a brand new App from scratch. Similarly, extensions to Rally Integrations and Connectors or new ones altogether can readily be created using our Enterprise Integrations Framework and data access (REST) toolkits.

Rally’s vibrant App Developer Community is powered by GitHub, which provides a social coding environment for collaborative development and sharing of Rally Apps. Rally provides open source access to Rally Apps both directly from the Rally Developer Portal as well as GitHub. In addition, a technical forum at Stack Exchange enables community discussion of technical questions of any type around the usage and customization of Rally’s Agile ALM platform.
